I’m not worthy of you, I’m not

if only i could rupture my ribs
if only i could swallow the glass shards
if only i could cringe my pallid eyelids to leave out
blood, bereavement and flaws
to get away from ‘nobody’
to surpass my past
to get into

*I’ve been very lousy when it came to blogging the last year. I’m not completely taking up the blame on me as I have enough things keeping me busy. A new year, a new start. Hoping to be more frequent and better with all the poetry and writing.

Happy reading! 🙂 Feel free to opine and share *

a monopoly

stream of colossal
waves, alluring
your nonchalant siege
comes attacking,
into,
ripping my eyelids
they probe unfettered
my face palpably timorous
i’m caught
by your ravenous gaze
you know, i know too
your ceaseless hunt
of countless atoms
abide, of mine
to rules you draft
i wondered over your sinless,
monstrous victory
after all, it’s my game, a monopoly
i walk away, innocent
for i worship, as you conquer
every fertile particle
of my raw
bloodless reflection

to find you once again

amid the canopy of shallow hearts
she discovered you
to the beat of her footsteps
singing, you walked towards her
to pallid destination, too
starting to ink you down
you seemed like an endless abyss blinding her veins from capturing yours
her scribbles of dusk were woven in corner
she scribbled
for it to stab you
walls ached for space
lone, filled with arid emotions
she walked furthermore
probing your intention
isn’t it you who should test?
on a berm
she lost you, abrupt
a thing she feared
under the flickering yellow
still walking over
hoping to find you
once again
