This is another painting on the canvas with oil colours.
A blend of impressionism with a mixed colour- palette background. The background more or less follows the colour wheel’s trend.
Inspired by the great artist, Van Gogh.
Post Impressionism with Acrylic on canvas.
Characteristics of Post Impressionistic (began during late 19th, early 20th centuries) paintings:
1. Long brush strokes
2. Minimalistic details
3. Colour harmony with bright colours
4. Expressing the feel, mood, emotions through the painting
5. Exaggerations of the scene.
I believe that I’ve done justice to the art form. Please feel free to drop in your comments.
Painting on a canvas has always been on my mind lately and I’m too happy that I managed to complete a piece on it. This is my first work on canvas and will be a memorable one.
Had a great time playing with the colours!
Quilling or paper filigree is an art form that involves the use of strips of paper that are rolled, shaped, and glued together to create decorative designs.
I learnt quilling looking at the images and a couple of videos. I haven’t received any special coaching for this. Once in a while I try it out.
So please ignore the mistakes if any.
Materials- paper strips of different colours (quilling strips), quilling needle, glue, pearls, crystals.
Time taken- Approximately 15-30 minutes for each.
“We all have 10,000 bad drawings in us. The sooner we get them out the better.”
― Walt Stanchfield
I got one out, courageous enough to reveal it in spite of mistakes!
