Facing The Biggest Lie

He was staring at the purposeless steaming coffee mugs and the empty chair behind. Life took a cruel turn in a matter of moments. The lively minutes, blended with love and hope an hour back flashed in front of him— it vanished. She was gone.
The lady in his arms now seemed miles away.

“I’ll be with you, forever, her words echoed in his mind, cringing.
He too finally faced the biggest lie of life, the coffee chilled by the time.

  1. I love your blog and your writing style. Thanks for stopping by my blog. “Facing The Biggest Lie” reminds me of a line in a song by Fiona Apple. “You’ll say you’d never let me fall from hopes so high, but never is a promise.” Keep writing. It will help you discovery yourself.
